He has extensive experience working with individuals and couples, both in private practice and with Relate National, helping clients address a wide variety of issues, from relationship difficulties to personal development and emotional health.

Specialising in couples therapy, George is trained in The Gottman Method, an evidence-based approach that provides practical tools for building strong, healthy relationships. He has completed the Level 3 Practicum Training and is currently working towards certification.

In addition to his one-on-one work with couples, George offers two powerful workshops:

1. The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work

This interactive workshop, based on Dr. John Gottman’s research, teaches couples the seven key principles that lead to long-lasting, fulfilling relationships. These principles include techniques for improving communication, managing conflict, fostering intimacy, and creating shared meaning. The workshop provides couples with practical tools to strengthen their bond and enhance their connection in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.

2. Gottman Lessons in Love Workshop for Singles

Designed for individuals who are seeking love or want to improve their future relationships, this workshop focuses on the key ingredients for healthy, lasting romantic partnerships. Drawing from the same evidence-based Gottman principles, it offers insights into building strong foundations for relationships before they even begin. Topics include effective communication, emotional intelligence, understanding needs, and how to spot potential red flags early on. The workshop equips singles with the tools and knowledge to approach relationships with confidence, self-awareness, and emotional readiness.

Whether you're navigating a difficult relationship, seeking personal growth, or preparing for a future relationship, you can trust George’s expertise and empathetic approach to guide you towards meaningful and lasting change.

The first step

When it comes to therapy, finding the right therapist can make all the difference. To ensure that we are a good fit, I offer an initial consultation over the phone or through video chat prior to our first session. This consultation will provide an opportunity for us to talk about your specific needs and goals for therapy.

During our first session together, we will collaborate to achieve those goals and establish a relationship built on trust and mutual understanding.
